Hi there, I'm Vicky - Primary School Teacher and aspiring children's writer.
I have a passion for writing picture books and middle grade novels, and I'm particularly keen on writing novels that will appeal to boys.
My ultimate goal is to combine my passion for writing with my interest in boys' education in a way that will help more boys to discover the pleasure of reading great stories.
I belong to 2 picture book critique groups and my fellow members are continually helping me to refine my craft with their invaluable feedback and feed-forward.
I have completed intensive writing courses through Savvy Authors. I'm currently working through the CBI Clubhouse course for beginning writers, and I hope to enroll in one of the Institute of Children's Literature writing courses next year.
